FAQs

Q: How do i change the logo's that come on the certificates?

A: On the company registration, go to "Edit Details" then select a main company logo and any accreditation's you want embedded on to the certificates.

Q: Do you offer training?

Yes a member of the NowLogit team can come to your company address and demonstrate all of the functions & features. (Uk only)

Q: How do i add Logbooks?

A: You must be registered as a company to add logbooks. Go to the "View Logbooks" tab and then "add Logbooks" here you can either add a single Logbook by entering all the sites information or add multiple logbooks purchased from the shop section. (See video above for more information)

Q: What happens to all the data that is entered?

A: All information entered is backed up on to a secure cloud. Information is only shared with any engineer or users you add to a particular logbook.

Q: Whats the difference between engineer & user access?

A: User's can be added to a logbook either by the company registration and engineers that are linked to the company account. A user can make logbook entries, see previous engineer visits and actions, see the site files & backup and see any engineer job sheets that have be attached to that logbook.

Engineer access has all of the above but have access to some extras like on site certificates and instant call out rota check.

Q: If i use this service, do i have to still have complete a paper version of my logbook?

A: It is recommended to still do a paper version of your logbook.

Q: What if i can't download the app on my smart device?

A: The app is available for all iPhone & Android platforms and has been tested on around 20 different models. But if you are unable to download and use for any reason then all logbook entries can be entered via the desktop site. Simply click the "View Logbook" tab then find the logbook required, then click on add an entry.

Q: Can a company registration make a logbook entry?

A: No, only user & engineers can add logbook entries.

Q: How do i set up a service reminder?

A: The company and user registration can set up service reminders. On desktop or app click the "view logbook" tab then click the logbook required. Scroll to the services reminders section. Here you can enter the system type for example Fire Alarm, then enter the frequency of the reminder for example if you fire alarm system gets serviced every 3 months, click 3 months and then select a date for the 1st reminder. You will see you email added a default but you can enter as many other email addresses as you like.
